Grace & Truth  Church

"We Don't Change God's Word, We Let God's Word Change Us"

Statement of Faith

We believe in only One God, who is eternally existent, and revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus, the Son, became flesh and dwelt among us, and we behold His glory, the Glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of Grace and Truth. John 1:14

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the supreme and final Authority in Faith and life. (2 Tim 3:16 ) God's Word is not debatable.

We believe all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God (Rom 3:9, 10) and only the Blood of Jesus can cleanse us. Anyone who repents and puts their trust in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus for the remission of sin will have access to the throne of Grace.

We believe if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. ( Rom 10:9, 10)

We believe in adult Water Baptism (Full Emersion)

We believe that "Baptism in the Holy Spirit" is an additional impartation subsequent to regeneration.  This Baptism is accompanied by the gifts of the Spirit, such as speaking in tongues, prophecy, etc.  The purpose of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is to impart spiritual power to the believer to be a witness and to glorify Jesus. (Acts 1:8, 5:32)  Being Baptised in the Spirit is vital to leading a victorious christian life.

We believe Jesus purchase the Church of God with His Own Blood (Acts 20:28).  The Church is the body of Christ and the instrument through which He will be glorified.  That is why we come together in the Word, Fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. (Acts 2:42)

We believe in the literal, physical return of the Lord Jesus.  The dead in Christ will rise first then those who are alive and remain at the return of our Lord will be changed and caught up to be with Hm. (I Thess. 4:16)

We believe in the Day of Judgement.  For those of us who have justified by faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on our behalf, this resurrection is for eternal life in fellowship with God.  Those who are not justified by faith in Jesus are resurrected for an eternal judgement.
